Growing up taking summer vacations to U.S. National Parks and other parts of the country, an appreciation for travel began growing at an early age. This developed into a constant yearning for seeing unique locales, experiencing various cultures, and checking different destinations off my must-see list.

This site provides suggestions and details on some amazing destinations that will help you choose the right spot for you, provide tips for things to see plus places/areas to stay. You will also find that major tourist destinations like London, NYC, and Paris aren’t listed. While those should definitely be experienced, you don’t need another source to tell you about Big Ben, Times Square, or the Louvre!

Instead, you will find insight into places off the beaten path that are equally impressive in their own right. While most appreciate a sunny vacation on a great island or beach similar to the Turks or Cancun, there are other options like Harbour Island, Holbox, or Dominica that provide a change of pace and more than just an all-inclusive resort. Or, if you like a little adventure during your down-time, details on the Galapagos Islands, Iceland, and Costa Rica can be found.
